First Baptist Church of San Antonio presents Christmas at First 2025, featuring a professional orchestra performing, among other selections, Matthew Peterson’s Dawn: Redeeming, Radiant.

Dawn: Redeeming, Radiant was commissioned by the St. Olaf Christmas Festival in 2012 and has since been performed by dozens of orchestras across the United States, including the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

First Baptist Church of San Antonio frequently performs orchcestral works by Matthew Peterson on their Christmas at First series, and were part of the consortium that commissioned Newborn Glimmer (2020).
